Dr.Rajiv’s Pharma was established in the year 1996 by Dr.V.A.Rajeevan, a multi-talented and multi-faceted physician in Ayurveda and Modern medicine & a 3rd generation of a glorious Ayurvedic tradition. Its history can be traced to the 1890’s during the period of French Government in MAHE. A renowned royal physician Sri.Malleri Krishnan Vaidhyar who was engaged in the practice and propagation of the ancient Indian Health Care system of Ayurveda, developed many formularies and treated thousands of patients in Kerala and Mangalore. He handed over his vast knowledge in health care to the next generation who later qualified in Modern medicine and Ayurveda

One of His sons Sri.V.K.Achuthan vaidhyar, Aryavaidyan from Ayurveda Padasala, Kottakkal 1946 rolled out numerous formularies based on this authentic tradition and knowledge which had high clinical success. He then established this Ayurvedic tradition in a successful manner as ORIENTAL DRUG COMPANY, MAHE His son Dr.V.A.Rajeevan, the 3rd generation then took over this establishment. During his practice, he conducted many clinical trials with these formularies and confirmed their efficacy. His professional colleagues (Ayurveda and Modern medicine) under the clinical guidance of senior professor also conducted clinical trials and found the vast scope of these formularies and suggested to promote it widely.

In 1996, Dr. Rajeevan renamed and registered this company as Dr.Rajiv’s Pharma and controls and guides the firm with immense care and intense concentration. Presently, Dr.Rajiv’s Pharma is manufacturing these formularies based on established principles of ayurveda and in all traditional bases in accordance with GMP standards.
